What you're signing up for
In plain English. Last updated: July 2026
This is the working agreement between you and AppVerticals, written the way we would explain it on a call. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, which is the binding document, and our Privacy Policy. Where the two ever disagree, the Terms govern — and tell us, because that means we have written something badly.
What you're getting
A custom-branded app, designed, built, hosted and maintained by us, and kept running for as long as you subscribe. Included on every plan:
- Design in your brand — your name, your logo, your colours
- An iPhone app and an Android app, published under your own name
- The same app on the web, so it works without an install
- An admin dashboard where you run your content, orders and customers
- Hosting, security patches, OS updates and app-store resubmissions
- Support from the team that built it, not a ticket queue
What it costs
The monthly price shown on your plan, billed in advance, starting the day you subscribe. Your first payment is taken when you subscribe and covers your first period. There is no separate build fee, hosting bill or per-seat charge on top. Taxes may be added depending on where you are. We can change the price for future periods on thirty days' notice, never for a period you have already paid for.
The first week
The ten-day estimate assumes we have what we need from you. Here is the shape of it:
- Day 1 — we confirm the brief and start design
- Day 2 — you see your screens in your brand, and tell us what to change
- Day 3 to 6 — we build it: iPhone, Android, web and your dashboard
- Day 7 — you try it yourself and approve it
- After approval — we submit to the App Store and Google Play
What we need from you
Only three things, and the timeline moves by however long they take: your brand assets and content, timely feedback at the two review points, and any account that has to be in your name — an app-store developer account, a payment processor, a domain. We will walk you through setting those up.
What we can't promise
Apple and Google review every app on their own timetable and to their own rules. We build to those rules and we handle the submission and any resubmission, but we cannot commit to their turnaround or guarantee approval. Nor can we promise a commercial outcome — downloads, revenue or ranking are not something anyone can honestly guarantee.
What you own
Your brand, your content, and your customer data — always, including after you leave. We own the underlying platform and the components we use to build and run every customer's app. While you subscribe you have an unrestricted commercial licence to the app we run for you, under your own name.
If it isn't right
Tell us within your first thirty days and we will either fix it or refund your most recent payment. That is a real commitment, not a formality — it is in our Terms of Service in the same words.
Leaving
Cancel any time, from your account or by email. Your app stays live until the end of the period you have paid for. After that we stop hosting it and remove it from the stores. Your data stays available to export for thirty days, and we will hand over your content and customer records on request. There is no notice period and no exit fee.
Owning it outright
Most customers rent indefinitely, and that is the arrangement this agreement describes. If you would rather own the build, a source-code buyout is available on written agreement — ask us and we will quote it against what has been built. A buyout transfers the application source code produced for you and ends the hosting and support relationship unless we agree separately to continue it.
Regulated work
Some apps need capabilities that are licensed activity — handling payments as a money service, prescribing, medical records, driver compliance, lending. If yours does, holding the relevant licences is your responsibility, and we will scope that work with you on a call before we start rather than through the online builder.
Who to talk to
One team, one thread. Email hello@appverticals.com or reply to any message from us and it reaches the people who built your app.
Questions about any of this? Email hello@appverticals.com — we would rather answer it now than have you find out later.
